CarbonSix joined the City of Douglas to help complete the seven years of planning the city had dedicated to reimagining a former outpatient hospital as a city complex housing a modern city hall, police department, and department of public works facility. This adaptive reuse project included an 11,000 square-foot office renovation for administrative and public spaces and an 1,800-square-foot garage addition for police vehicles. The cost-effective design and construction adhere to stringent accessibility, security, and regulatory standards while leveraging existing infrastructure for sustainability. The resulting space provides the opportunity to strengthen community connections and supports the long-term growth and legacy the City of Douglas.
